Sunrise Tour description

Your early wake-up will be well rewarded as your day begins at our secret observation point in Imerovigli—affectionately known as the balcony of the Aegean.

Here, beside a blue-domed chapel perched high on the cliffs, you'll witness a rare and mesmerizing double panoramic view—eastward toward the rising sun and westward over the iconic caldera. As the sky shifts through a breathtaking palette of colors before and after sunrise, your guide will prepare a traditional Greek coffee (or hot tea) served with loukoumia, a delightful local sweet that pairs perfectly with your morning beverage. Savor this peaceful moment as the sun rises over the Aegean—a truly unforgettable way to start your day.

Next, we journey to Oia, the most renowned village on Santorini and one of the most photographed destinations in the world.

While thousands flock here daily, your early arrival allows you to experience Oia’s quiet charm before the crowds appear. Stroll through its picturesque alleys, marvel at the blue-domed chapels, and admire the whitewashed homes carved into the volcanic cliffs. Take your time to explore and capture postcard-perfect photos at your own pace.

From there, we continue to Firostefani, a peaceful village adjacent to the capital, Fira. Enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the caldera and the volcano, and be sure to snap the iconic photograph of the blue-domed church with the volcanic landscape behind—a classic Santorini image recognized the world over.

Before heading to the sea, we’ll pause at the port of Santorini for a delicious breakfast to fuel you for the next part of your adventure.

Volcano Cruise

Board a traditional wooden sailing boat at Athinios Port and set off for an unforgettable cruise to the volcanic islets.

Your first stop is the therapeutic Hot Springs of Palia Kameni, where you can relax and take in the healing waters surrounded by dramatic volcanic scenery.

Next, sail to Nea Kameni, home to the island’s active volcano. Embark on a guided hike to the summit, where your guide will share fascinating insights into the island’s volcanic history as you explore six distinct craters at the top.

After your volcanic adventure, sail back to Athinios Port where a comfortable coach will be waiting to return you to your hotel or a nearby designated drop-off point.
